A local Non-Profit managing real estate for those in need within Manheim and the surrounding communities
About US
Homes for Manheim received a substantial donation from Kauffman Mennonite Church to start the organization and used those funds, along with other donations, to purchase properties on West Ferdinand Street and Logan Ave in Manheim, and Willow Street in Lebanon. Manheim Community Life Group (MCLG), a 501c3 nonprofit, is overseeing the work and ministry at the Manheim location and will be the primary lessee for those properties. Michael Clancy, Eastern Mennonite missionary, is overseeing the work and ministry at the Lebanon location.
HFM holds the deeds for these properties and meets regularly to make decisions regarding the needs at all property locations. HFM is responsible for the repairs and maintenance; the rent received from residents of the properties contributes to these on-going expenses. HFM’s goal is to have all properties sustain financial stability so that the resources of the organization are not depleted and additional properties can be acquired.
Our PARTNERS
In addition to the initial financial investment to start HFM and the rental income, donations from local businesses, churches and individuals help keep HFM financially stable and in a position to purchase additional properties. If you wish to partner with HFM you may donate funds or let us know about potential properties in Manheim and nearby communities. This will allow us to fulfill our vision of providing affordable housing to those on the margins of our communities.
If you wish to partner with Homes for Manheim, you may donate a property, contribute funds or let us know about potential properties in Manheim and the surrounding communities which could be purchased by Homes for Manheim.
